i am going to make mince pies today... now. does anyone know of a way to enure fab pastry? mine is always a bit on the verge of being dust post oven.

ee, i don't think i like this new format! pink better! been meaning to write for a while, to prove i do read this. i admire your mince pies. i am too lazy/insecure about pastry to make anything but chocolate cake. mmmm, chocolate cake... i made one with figs in, it was very good. next, one with jelly sweets - not too vegetarian. still v excited about heartbeat. how cool! love axx p.s. my dad says he thinks he carried off his surprise ok...!
